Charles de Gaulle Middle School – Ploemeur, Morbihan (56)
For his second invitation by the school’s art teacher, Sébastien Bouchard created a mural in the projection room to accompany a piece created by a group of students.Charles de Gaulle Middle School in Ploemeur stands out as a true open-air urban art museum, hosting monumental murals by renowned artists on its facades. Far from being purely decorative, this graphic heritage is fully integrated into the school’s curriculum through co-creation workshops with the students. The themes explored on the walls fuel the students’ civic reflection throughout the year. Finally, this original approach opens the institution to the local community during public events, highlighting the value of urban culture in an educational setting.
