The Daumézon Hospital branch in the Olivettes district of Nantes is a child and adolescent psychiatry center that offers consultations, day care, and crisis intervention for adolescents and young adults. Its mission is to diagnose and treat their psychological disorders while supporting their social and academic inclusion.
Whether used in medicine to soothe the biological heart, or used in art to symbolize a broken heart (the Passion) or a romantic one (courtly love), the hawthorn remains forever bound to the impulses and mysteries of the heart.
